Royal Canin Kitten Kitten Food (Kitten)
Royal Canin Kitten is a complete and balanced dry food for kittens in the second growth phase (from 4 to 12 months). It contains 36% protein and 18% fat; dehydrated poultry protein is first on the ingredient list. Available at Petidi in 2 kg, 4 kg and 10 kg bags.

Why Royal Canin Kitten?
- Second growth phase: Royal Canin states that protein, vitamin and mineral levels are adapted to the increasing growth rate, bone and muscle development and energy needs from 4 months of age.
- Immune support: Contains vitamin E (500 mg/kg) and vitamin C (200 mg/kg); Royal Canin states that this complex supports kittens' immune system.
- DHA: DHA from algal oil (0.17%) is added; Royal Canin states that it supports brain development and vision.

Ingredients: Dehydrated poultry protein, rice, wheat gluten*, animal fats, corn flour, hydrolyzed animal proteins, wheat flour, corn gluten, yeast products, beet pulp, vegetable fibers, minerals, soy oil, fish oil, psyllium husks and seeds, fructo-oligosaccharides, hydrolyzed yeast (source of manno-oligosaccharides and beta-glucans) (0.29%), algal oil Schizochytrium sp. (source of DHA), marigold meal (source of lutein). *L.I.P.: protein selected for its very high digestibility, according to Royal Canin.

The amounts in the table are for feeding dry food only. For mixed feeding with wet food, Royal Canin recommends reducing the dry food: for example, 1 pouch of wet food + 46 g of dry food for a 6-month-old kitten.
For example, a 6-month-old kitten eats about 67 g a day. At that amount a 2 kg bag lasts about 30 days, a 4 kg bag about 60 days and a 10 kg bag about 5 months. Switching foods

Absolutely. The kibble in Royal Canin Kitten is designed to suit kittens' small, still-developing jaws and baby teeth. It is easy to chew, tasty and appetizing.
Will the protein level and ingredients be too heavy for my kitten?
No. On the contrary, it has exactly the balance they need. The 36% L.I.P. (highly digestible) proteins it contains don't strain your kitten's developing digestive system and help build muscle mass in a healthy way.
Which food should I switch to when my cat turns 1 (12 months)?
Your cat reaches adulthood at 12 months. At this stage, if your cat is spayed or neutered, you should switch to an adult food such as Royal Canin Sterilised 37. Switching gradually by mixing the old and new food over 7–10 days is important for digestive health.
