Information on the Protection of Personal Data

As Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, we attach great importance to processing and storing your personal data in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "Law"). We would like to inform our customers about our purposes and methods for collecting, processing and transferring personal data, and about your rights under the Law.

1. Methods of collecting personal data

As Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, in our capacity as data controller and within the framework of our legal obligations under the legislation, we collect your personal data verbally, in writing or electronically through channels such as our website, social media channels, mobile applications and similar means, for purposes such as enabling you to benefit from our brands' services, informing you about our campaigns with your consent, recording your suggestions and complaints, creating better service standards for you, and determining and implementing the commercial and business strategies of Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi.

2. Processing of personal data and purposes of processing

As Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, in our capacity as data controller, your personal and/or special categories of personal data obtained with your consent through our call centers, written communication channels, social media pages, mobile communication channels, in-store communication channels and/or any other channels, without being limited to these, may be obtained in whole or in part, recorded, kept, stored, changed, updated, periodically checked, reorganized and classified; retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which they are processed or for the period stipulated in the relevant law; shared with or transferred to the private persons and legal entities that Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi works with, or to public institutions and organizations to which it is legally obliged, and/or to relevant third-party natural/legal persons residing in Türkiye or abroad, in the event of legal or service-related practical requirements; and transferred abroad in the event of legal or service-related practical requirements.

We hereby inform you that we may process your personal data for purposes such as enabling customers of Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi to benefit from our brands' services, informing you about our campaigns with your consent, recording your suggestions and complaints, creating better service standards for you, and determining and implementing the commercial and business strategies of Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, and in any case in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and the relevant legislation.

3. Transfer of Personal Data

We do not sell your personal data. To receive, process payment for, deliver and invoice your order and to operate our site, we share it with the following service providers, only for the stated purpose and to the extent necessary:

Shopify (site and order infrastructure, abroad): name and surname, delivery/billing address, phone, email, order contents.
PayTR (payment institution): the information needed for the payment transaction. Your card details are sent directly to PayTR; they are not kept on our servers.
Yurtiçi Kargo (delivery): name and surname, delivery address, phone.
Paraşüt (e-invoice / e-archive invoice): name and surname or company name, billing address, your Turkish ID / tax number if you entered it, order amount.
Cloudflare (servers and hosting, abroad): order summaries, Pet Profile information and site visit records, for the operation of our management panel.
Meta / WhatsApp (abroad): your phone number and message content, for order and delivery notifications and the satisfaction survey.
Google (abroad): if you have given cookie consent, site usage statistics (Google Analytics) and ad measurement (Google Ads).
Meta (abroad): only if you have consented to marketing communications, your email address, phone number and name are sent in irreversibly encrypted form (hashed) so that our ads can be shown to you or to people similar to you. This transfer stops when you withdraw your marketing consent or do not allow tracking in the app.
Apple and Google (abroad, mobile app): if you have agreed to receive notifications, your device's notification ID, so that notifications can be sent.

Apart from these, your data may be disclosed only to authorized public institutions and organizations as required by a legal obligation (e.g. tax audit, court order).

Transfers to service providers based abroad are made in accordance with the conditions in Article 9 of the Law.

4. Rights of the Data Subject Listed in Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law (the "Law")

Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi will respond to the following requests of data subjects:

a) To learn whether Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi processes personal data about them and which personal data it processes,

b) To request information about the purposes of the processing activity,

c) To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom Petidi Veterinerlik Bilişim ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi transfers personal data,

d) To request the correction of personal data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,

e) To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the Law,

f) In the event of a request for the correction, deletion or destruction of personal data, to request that the third parties to whom the personal data was transferred be notified of these actions,

g) To object to a result against the person arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems, and

h) To obtain a copy of their personal data.

Privacy and Security

In our order, account and Pet Profile forms, we ask for your name and surname, contact and address details; in the Pet Profile, we ask for information about your pet such as their name, species, breed, date of birth and weight. We use this information to fulfill your order, offer suitable food and portion recommendations, run our Subscribe & Save and Petidi Club services and, if you have given consent, keep you informed about our campaigns.

You can view and change your account information yourself. Apart from you, your information is accessed only by authorized Petidi employees handling your order and by the service providers listed in section 3 above, to the extent of their duties.

The card details you enter on the payment page are not kept on Petidi's servers; the payment transaction takes place directly between the payment institution (PayTR) and your bank.

Use of Cookies

Cookies are small text files saved to your device when you visit our site. Cookies that are essential for the site to work (cart, session, your preferences) are always used. Statistics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta) are used only if you give consent in the cookie banner.

We also collect browsing statistics on our site (pages viewed, actions such as adding to cart, device type, city-level location and the source you came from) with our own infrastructure; these records are deleted after 90 days.

If you give consent, these records are kept per visit.
If you do not give consent or make no choice, no person-level records are kept, and any records previously kept about you are deleted. Only an anonymous count is made: which page was opened, where the visit came from and the device type. No cookie is written to your device for this count; your IP address is not stored and is hashed one way with a key that changes daily, in a way that cannot identify you.

You can change your preference at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page.

Mobile app: On iOS, advertising tracking takes place only if you grant the tracking permission the app asks for; if you do not, your information is not transferred to Meta ad audiences.
