N&D Prime Grain-Free Chicken & Pomegranate Wet Kitten Food is a grain-free canned food with chicken and pomegranate for kittens, from Farmina's N&D Prime line. Each 70 g can is a single-meal portion. Made for growing kittens.
Ingredients and nutrition
Ingredients: Chicken fillet (50%), chicken thigh, pomegranate (4%), fish oil, animal fat, fructooligosaccharides, chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine, vitamins, minerals.
Guaranteed analysis: Protein 14.5%, fat 4.5%, crude fiber 0.4%, crude ash 2.9%, moisture 74%. Metabolizable energy 1,115 kcal/kg.
The recipe is made with chicken fillet (50%) and chicken thigh; it contains pomegranate (4%), fish oil and fructooligosaccharides, with added glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate. Vitamin and taurine levels are higher than in the adult recipe. The food contains 14.5% crude protein and 4.5% crude fat, with about 75% moisture. Metabolizable energy is 1,115 kcal/kg. It's a complete food supplemented with taurine, vitamins and minerals. The composition values are those the manufacturer publishes for the 80 g version of the same recipe.
How to feed
After opening, cover the rest, keep it in the fridge and use within 2 days; let it come to room temperature before serving. If you feed it alongside dry food, reduce the dry food. We cover meals per day by age in our article (in Turkish): Yavru kedi ne kadar mama yer.

When can kittens start eating wet food?
Kittens can be introduced to wet food from weaning. Its soft texture also makes the move to dry food easier.
Can I mix it with dry food?

Switching foods
When switching to a new food, mix the foods over 7 days, gradually reducing the amount of the old food and increasing the amount of the new food.
