Product details

Mattcat Anti-Hairball Paste is a paste used to help with hairballs in cats. It isn't a food but an additional care product.

Why do hairballs form?

Cats swallow hair while grooming. Most of it passes out in the stool, but some can build up in the stomach, form a ball and lead to vomiting. This is more common in long-haired cats and during shedding season.

When using it

  • Follow the package instructions for amount and frequency.
  • Regular brushing reduces how much hair is swallowed.
  • Fresh water should always be available.
  • If there's frequent vomiting, loss of appetite or constipation, check with your vet. The paste doesn't replace a vet exam.
