Product details

GimCat UT Balance Paste Cat Paste is a complementary feed made with urinary tract health in mind. The manufacturer states that the ingredients in the paste react with phosphorus and oxalates in the intestine; these substances are found in the structure of some urinary stones. It comes in a 50 g tube.

Composition and nutritional values

The formula is made of plant-derived derivatives, oils and fats, yeast with beta-glucans and N-acetylglucosamine from crustaceans. The paste contains 5.5% crude protein, 34% crude fat and 1.5% crude fiber.

How to use

Follow the table on the packaging for the daily amount. You can let your cat lick the paste from the tube or put it on your cat's paw. Water intake is also very important for urinary tract health; make sure your cat always has access to fresh water.

FAQ

Does UT Balance Paste treat urinary tract infections?

No. This product is not intended as a treatment. If your cat is urinating often, straining in the litter tray or has blood in its urine, take it to the vet without delay; a urinary blockage is an emergency, especially in male cats.

My cat is on a urinary diet food – can I give the paste?
