GimCat Energy Paste Cat Paste is a complementary feed whose fat-rich formula provides concentrated energy in a small portion. It is used as a practical support for cats with a reduced appetite, cats recovering or cats with higher energy needs. It comes in a 50 g tube.
Composition and nutritional values
The formula contains oils and fats including linseed oil, white fish protein, meat and animal derivatives, vegetable derivatives and yeast with beta-glucans. The paste contains 33.5% crude fat and 6.5% crude protein. The manufacturer states that the paste provides concentrated energy thanks to high-quality fats and functional ingredients.
How to use
You can let your cat lick it straight from the tube, offer it on your finger or put it on the paw. Follow the table on the packaging for the daily amount.

When is Energy Paste used?
It can be used as an extra energy source for cats that have lost their appetite or weight, or that are very active. During pregnancy and nursing, it is recommended to ask your vet before use.
If my cat isn't eating at all, is the paste enough?
No. A cat not eating anything for more than a day is serious and needs a vet's examination; the paste is for support only. For other supplements, see our vitamins and supplements page.
Switching foods
When switching to a new food, mix the foods over 7 days, gradually reducing the amount of the old food and increasing the amount of the new food.
