N&D Tropical Selection Sterilized Adult Lamb Dry Cat Food is a dry food with lamb and tropical fruit from Farmina's Tropical Selection line, made for sterilized adult cats. Available in 1.5 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg bags.
Ingredients: Lamb (20%), dehydrated lamb protein (20%), spelt (12%), oats (12%), dried beet pulp, dehydrated herring protein, alfalfa meal, dried whole eggs, chicken fat, fish oil (from herring), dried carrots, inulin, fructooligosaccharides, yeast extract (source of mannan-oligosaccharides), dried banana (0.5%), dried kiwi (0.5%), dried mango (0.5%), dried papaya (0.5%), dried pineapple (0.5%), dried spinach, psyllium husks and seeds, sodium chloride, dried brewer's yeast, turmeric, aloe vera extract.
Guaranteed analysis: Protein 31%, fat 11%, crude fiber 6.5%, crude ash 8.2%, moisture 8%. Metabolizable energy 3512 kcal/kg.
The recipe starts with lamb (20%) and dehydrated lamb protein (20%). The grains used are spelt (12%) and oats (12%). The line gets its name from dried banana, kiwi, mango, papaya and pineapple (0.5% each). The food contains 31% crude protein, 11% crude fat and 6.5% crude fiber; metabolizable energy is 3512 kcal/kg.
Use the chart on the back of the bag to set the daily portion based on your cat's weight and activity. Transition over 7–10 days, mixing the new food into the old little by little; fresh water should always be within reach. The fruits add variety to the recipe and are a natural source of antioxidants. The amounts are small; lamb and grains form the base of the food.
The two recipes have almost identical nutritional values; the difference is the main protein source. Choose whichever flavor your cat prefers.
When switching to a new food, mix the foods over 7 days, gradually reducing the amount of the old food and increasing the amount of the new food.
