N&D Pumpkin Grain-Free Duck, Pumpkin and Melon Adult Cat Food is a grain-free dry food with duck and melon from Farmina's Pumpkin range, made for adult cats. Available in 1.5 kg and 5 kg bags.
Ingredients: Boneless duck (30%), dried duck protein (28%), pea starch, chicken fat, dried pumpkin (5%), dried egg, herring, dried herring protein, fish oil (herring), dried carrot, alfalfa, inulin, fructo-oligosaccharides, yeast extract (source of manno-oligosaccharides), dried melon (0.5%), dried pomegranate, dried apple, dried spinach, psyllium husks and seeds (0.3%), dried sweet orange, dried blueberry, sodium chloride, dried brewer's yeast, turmeric (0.2%), aloe vera extract.
Analytical constituents: Protein 44%, fat 20%, crude fiber 1.8%, crude ash 8.7%, moisture 8%. Metabolizable energy 4,197 kcal/kg.
The recipe starts with boneless duck (30%) and dried duck protein (28%). Carbohydrate comes from pea starch; dried pumpkin (5%) is the range's signature ingredient. The formula also contains egg, herring, fish oil, melon, pomegranate, apple and blueberry. The food contains 44% crude protein, 20% crude fat and 1.8% crude fiber; its metabolizable energy is 4,197 kcal/kg. It is supplemented with taurine and L-carnitine.
Work out the daily portion from the table on the back of the bag according to your cat's weight and activity. Switch to the new food over 7–10 days, mixing it in gradually with the old food; make sure fresh water is always available. You can find the recommended amounts per kilo in our article (in Turkish) how many grams of food a cat should eat a day.
Duck is a protein source less commonly used than chicken and fish; it is a good alternative for adult cats that want a change of taste. Remember that the recipe also contains chicken fat.
This recipe is a high-energy adult formula. For sterilized cats, measure the portion carefully or choose the range's products made specifically for sterilized cats.
When switching to a new food, mix the foods over 7 days, gradually reducing the amount of the old food and increasing the amount of the new food.
