Advance Adult Salmon Adult Cat Food is a dry food for adult cats aged 1–10 years whose main protein source is salmon. It comes in 3 kg and 10 kg bags for cats that prefer the taste of fish.
Ingredients: Salmon (18%), corn protein, dehydrated salmon protein, rice (15%), whole wheat, pork fat, whole corn, wheat protein, wheat bran, beet pulp, hydrolyzed yeast, minerals, chicory inulin (0.6%).
Analytical constituents: Protein 36%, fat 16%, crude ash 7%, crude fiber 1.5%.
Salmon is first on the ingredient list; poultry protein, hydrolyzed fish protein and dried egg protein support it. Rice, corn and wheat are used as carbohydrate sources. The food contains 36% protein, 16% fat, 1.5% fiber, 1.1% calcium and 1% phosphorus; its metabolizable energy is 4,100 kcal/kg. Taurine is at 1,200 mg/kg; vitamin E (450 mg/kg) and vitamin C (350 mg/kg) are added as antioxidants. Fish oil is a source of omega-3 for skin and coat health.
Work out the daily portion from the table on the back of the bag according to your cat's weight; switch to the new food gradually over 7–10 days. For a detailed calculation, see our article (in Turkish) how many grams of food a cat should eat a day.
The nutritional values of the two formulas are very close; the choice mostly depends on your cat's taste. For cats sensitive to chicken or that love fish, the salmon formula is a good alternative.
This formula is for adult cats that are not sterilized. For sterilized cats, Advance Sterilised formulas are recommended.
When switching to a new food, mix the foods over 7 days, gradually reducing the amount of the old food and increasing the amount of the new food.
