Advance Cat Food Ranges
Advance dry foods are split by your cat's age and whether they are spayed or neutered. Based on the information on the product pages, the ranges are:
| Formula | Best for | Protein / Fat |
|---|---|---|
| Kitten Chicken | Kittens aged 2–12 months, pregnant and nursing cats | — |
| Junior Sterilized Chicken | Young sterilized cats up to 36 months | 39% / 13% |
| Adult Chicken, Adult Salmon | Adult cats aged 1–10 | 35% / 16% |
| Sterilised Turkey, Sterilised Salmon | Sterilized adult cats | 37% / 10–11.5% |
| Hairball Turkey | Sterilized cats with hairball problems | 37% / 10% |
The sterilized cat formulas have less fat than the adult formula. Since energy needs drop after spaying or neutering, this helps with weight control.
Advance Wet Cat Food
In addition to dry food, there are 85 g wet foods: Adult Chicken, Sterilised Turkey and Sterilised Cod. Since wet food also adds water to your cat's diet, it's useful for cats that don't drink much. If you feed it with dry food, balance the total daily amount.
Bag Sizes
Depending on the formula, Advance dry foods come in 1.5 kg, 3 kg, 10 kg and 15 kg bags. Start with a small bag the first time, and if your cat likes it, move up to a larger one.
